2020 Laundry Basket Mystery Quilt

Well, 2020 and the Coronavirus is kinda different. Edyta Sitar, of laundry basket design, has started a new Mystery Quilt. Decided to give it a try. Here is my first 4 blocks. For the corners.

Generally, this is the basics after step 1.

Day 2 - 8 blocks

Third day completed. There are eight blocks similar to day 2.

Day 4 completed.

Couldn’t figure out what was wrong with day 5. Checked and she had a typo. Instead of 2 3/8” it should 2 5/8” for the color squares. Oh well, good thing I have my trusty ripper handy. 😉

Day 6 completed.
Day 7 completed

Slowly getting there. About 1/2 way there.

Working little by little. Have most blocks done, now to put them together.

Working on the center two rows. It’s like putting a puzzle together. She had several ideas for layout and border, but I can’t decide yet. Like the appliqué one the best, but might do a quicker one instead.

Here is my finished center. Now just have to decide on the border.
